#1.14 Takeaway

Bluey Recap: Takeaway (#1.14)

#bestbits: Bingo’s questions

#lifelesson: leave the kids at home when you pick up takeaway, and seize the moment to act carefree

.

The episode is set at the local Chinese takeaway and it starts with the girls asking questions:

“Can I have a shower under the tap?” (No. Wet. Dogs. In. Cars.)

“Where do rocks come from?” (Ummm)

“Can we have some of your takeaway?” (You girls don’t like spicy!)

Bandit goes in to collect the dinner but they have to wait 5minutes as they’ve forgotten  the spring rolls! (Not. Leaving. Without. SpringRolls.)

Bandit tells them they’re going to play “Dad reads the newspaper” but Bluey is thirsty and wants a juice. Dad turns the tap on for her instead (don’t even THINK about having a tap shower) while Bingo asks if she can eat the plants in the drain like she can eat the plant lettuce. #faircall

Poor Bandit just wants to sit and wait for the springrolls, but in typical #notgoingtoletyourelax kid style, Bingo now wants a drink, Bluey wants to play with the menus, Bingo is starving, then they play restaurants and kick Dad off his chair and take his paper....

Whilst Bandit is inside checking on the springrolls, Bingo has a taste of his food, which is, of course, too spicy, resulting in a desperate drink from the tap!

It then turns into a comedy of errors parenting-style with Bingo doing the longest bush wee in history, the crows eating Dads dinner and Bluey flooding the footpath.

When Bingo asks where the first baby came from, Bandit decides to pack it up and head home without the spring rolls, before slipping and spilling ALL the Chinese.

The restaurant owner comes out to tell them it’ll be another 5minute wait but offers some fortune cookies as compensation.

Blueys reads “flowers may bloom again, but a person never has a chance to be young again”, which results in Dad seizing the moment and them all having a tap shower at Blueys wish!
