Chilli and the girls are about to go out... Bluey can’t find her hat, Bingo hasn’t brushed her teeth, and the girls deliver a package containing.... Sticky Gecko which Bingo quickly flicks to the ceiling.
Chilli promises to catch “Gecky” as Bingo finally goes upstairs to brush her teeth and Bluey has a half assed search for her hat (then gets distracted by a picture on the wall of Grandad in the Army).
After relenting to let Bluey go find a badge for her hat (like Grandads), and letting Bingo put on her roller skates, Chilli decides that she needs to intervene to get Sticky Gecko down. She asks Bluey for her hockeystick, but is given Chattermax instead (#hideandseek).
Chilli attempts to knock Gecky down but is unsuccessful as Chattermax poos out pellets. It culminates as Bingo has to put her rollerskates again, Bluey comes looking for her hat (again) and Chilli steps on the spikey badge - Chilli finally loses it and slams the door shut telling the girls they are not going anywhere. Unfortunately, the girls seem quite happy about this while Chilli quietly simmers until she explodes again saying they ARE going out - surely it’s not that hard to walk out the door!
This starts an epic tirade of “Why?” questions from Bluey, in which Chilli covers: being on time, how nice Judo’s mum is and how nice the girls are! Her final answer “just because” results in her losing the ‘why’ game but also prompts Bluey to explain that she is procrastinating as she is nervous about seeing Judo after so long.
The solution to this is to be brave (like her Grandad) and they finally march / skate out the door - with Chilli diving back in to catch Sticky Gecko as he peels off the ceiling.
