Bluey and her friends are at school for the day with their teacher Calypso. After telling an enchanted story with song, the children disperse to various parts of the room for unstructured play. Pretzel collapses on a mat, and despite Calypso offering an interesting stick, he proclaims he doesn’t want to do anything.
Calypso visits all of the games, gently encouraging play and interaction: Honey’s gnome village, Bluey’s fish and chip shop (which is out of fish), a busy Mums and bubs group with Indy, Coco and Chloe, Rusty’s construction site and The Terriers Roman fort (protectors, not invaders).
On Round 2 of her teaching lap and game facilitation, Calypso encourages Honey to expand her gnome village (in order to merit a coveted toy gnome), while Indy is looking for somewhere to live. Rusty offers her a room in his new house but she has to earn some dollarbucks by waitressing at Bluey’s busy fish and chip (with no fish) shop.
Indy leaves her baby in Rusty’s capable hands while she works, and the terriers maintain their fort, despite no one needing protection.
On Round 3 of her teaching lap, Calypso again encourages Honey to expand her gnome village. Indy pays Rusty for the room rent and takes an order of fish and chips (without the fish) for the whole terrier army who are becoming bored and debating whether they should become invaders rather than protectors.
On Round 4, Calypso looks at Honeys village again which has become an epic set up complete with streams & trees & houses & villagers. Impressed, she allows Honey to add a coveted gnome.... Everyone is admiring the village when Indy comes along, laden with some sacks of chips from Blueys shop for the terrier fort army.
Predicting an accident, Calypso successfully calls on the terrier army to defend the village.
In the closing scene we see that Pretzel has taken up the stick to use as a fishing pole in a game of pretend....
