#lifelesson: working at home with kids is next to impossible, and sometimes you have to put on your big girl pants and speak up

Today is a work day for Bandit - definitely not how my mornings go on a work day (apart from the cleaning up the kitchen bit!!!).

Bandit plays a game of “Elevator” (up and down behind the kitchen bench) with the girls, all the time happily proclaiming that he can’t play as it’s a work day.

He eventually leaves the game to go to his ‘work from home’ office where he sits on a yoga ball “Cause I wrecked my back changing YOUR nappies” #smashingstereotypes 

After a bit of pestering, Dad plays a game of bouncing the kids on the ball leaving Bingo looking a bit nauseous and sad, until the girls steal his ball to dress it up and play games with it in their room.

Dad comes to reclaim it and get on with his work, however is sucked into a game of ‘Delivery Chair’ by Blueys “please” face.

During the game, Poor Bingo lands a bit hard on the bed and looks upset again, and in the next game of ‘Raiders’ (of the Lost Ark), she gets bowled over by the yoga ball and creeps outside to lick her bumps and bruises.

Mum comes home to find Bingo cowering under the garden bench and asks what’s up. Bingo explains that Dad was playing a bit rough so Mum gets her to practice her “big girl bark” (just like me putting on my #biggirlpants when I have to be brave!).

They go inside to talk to Dad about it and he apologises, saying that sometimes he forgets she’s smaller than Bluey.

They experiment with ok versus rough play and Bingo successfully practices her big girl bark.

Dad turns to go back to work but his yoga ball is missing again.... Bluey has dressed it up and taken it to the toilet.
