#1.38 Copycat

Bluey: Copycat (#1.38)

#bestbits: Bluey and Bingo reenacting the morning.

#lifelesson: keep a tissue handy, and sometimes things happen that are just out of our hands.

.

Dad wakes up to find Bluey copying everything he says and does. They go about their morning routine and head off for an ass shaking power walk with Bluey imitating everything to a ‘T’.

Dad says hello to Wendy and does an excellent butt slapping routine expecting Bluey to be copying him, however Bluey chooses that moment to pretend she has no idea what Dads doing and leaves him high and dry on humiliation street.

They come across an injured budgie and decide to take him to the vet. With the budgie in a cardboard box they set off in the car.

At the veterinary surgery, the budgie is taken in by the nurse. After a while she comes out and kneels down (so beautifully) to let Bluey know that the budgie died and Dad gives her a big hug.

On the way home Bluey sadly says that she didn’t want the budgie to die but Dad tells her that there’s nothing they could’ve done - it was out of their hands.

Mum and Bingo meet them as they pull up and Mum gives Bluey a big hug too.

In true childhood interpretation, Bluey and Bingo play at re-enacting the morning.... From power walking, to finding the injured budgie (Bingo). From jamming Bingo the budgie into a shoebox, to driving to the vets in their toy car (complete with cursing irresponsible drivers).

Mum the vet nurse takes the injured budgie into the vet then comes out to give Bluey the news - the budgie is ok!

This isn’t how Bluey wants to reenact the morning though so Mum has to correct herself to say the budgie died.

Not being privy to these arrangements Bingo the budgie busts out of the vets office flapping and squawking in a very non dead way. They run outside and Mum sits with Bluey on the step to reflect that things didn’t end up the way she wanted - Bluey, repeating what Dad told her that morning, says that it’s ok, there’s nothing they could do, it’s out of their hands.
