Cousin Muffin is coming for a sleepover which Bluey and Bingo are exceptionally excited about as it means they get to (chant) “STAY UP LATE!!!”
After explaining to the girls that a delirious Muffin is transitioning her sleeps, Uncle Stripe piss bolts out the door like any experienced parent dropping their kid off on a sleepover.
The girls choose a game and they arrive at “The Restaurant” with Bingo dressed up as the Dad (“sure thing boibe”), Bluey pretending to be the Mum and their daughter Sheila (Muffin) dragging her bag before collapsing in a potplant (eerily reminiscent of the end of a big night out).
Mum the maître de welcomes them and promises speedy service after Bluey and Bingo say they’re looking forward to a sloooooooow dinner. Muffin continues rambling in a hilarious tirade of babble and gradually keeps doing ridiculous things until she completely loses her shit and they all get kicked out of the restaurant (in adult world - pub).
They then go to the chip shop (kebab shop.....) but realise that once they pay the game will be over “What are we gunna do boibe?” asks Bingo - so they do a runner but the chip shop owner (Dad) sets the police (Mum now) onto them.
After riding a garden flamingo statue (big night out....????) the police catch them - Muffin is taken away in the back of the toy car paddy wagon.
Mum shows the girls that they HAVE actually stayed up late just as Muffin takes off, crashing into the blow up pool and hugging the garden flamingo again. The girls realise they have to get her to bed and tell her to come and hide inside, successfully getting her to sleep.
The next morning Muffin asks a tired Bluey the question we all ask after a big night out - “Why is there a flamingo in my sleeping bag?”
