#lifelesson: make sure to have a butler called Jerry-Lee, and once you have kids, there is no escape!
The Heeler’s are on the way to Nana’s house (as Mum and Dad are having a weekend away together). The girls are excited as this means TV - to which Bandit says no, they should use their imaginations to draw pictures.
The girls want to know why they can’t go with them so Bandit explains that him and Chilli are going to lay in hammocks, drinking from coconuts, with NO children allowed.
This is of course outrageous to Bingo and Bluey who decide that they are coming along (in the stick figure animation that is now the story). Dad imagines up a huge wall to stop them but they hire an eagle to fly over it. Next, Mum imagines up a prickle bush but Bingo pulls out a lawnmower to cut it down. Mum and Dad escape down an imaginary secret tunnel and into a cool car but Bingo imagines up a dream house-car for her and Bluey, complete with a spa and butlers.
The Great Escape is on! Mum and Dad transfer to a helicopter, but the girls turn their dream house into a rocket to pursue them. Mum and Dad parachute out, but the girls turn the spa into a parachute and continue after them. Mum and Dad try to leg it but they encounter a big cliff so have to turn and admit defeat to the girls.
However, the tables turn and now Mum and Dad chase THEM wanting hugs and love. The girls escape, first on scooters then in their pretend rocket as Mum and Dad cling to the outside, holding their breathe as they go into outer space. Eventually though, they have to breathe and parachute down to the ground leaving Bluey and Bingo to live on the moon.
The girls cheer happily as they have won the ‘Great Escape’ game just as they arrive at Nana’s house.
Rather than watching TV, the girls spend the rest of the afternoon recreating their imaginary adventure with Mum and Dad into colourful pictures for Nana.
