#2.13 The Show
Bluey Recap: The Show (#2.13)
#bestbits: Chilli getting tears and asking for the show “again”
#lifelesson: farts win the girls, and if something goes wrong: have a cry, pick yourself up, and keep on going
It’s Mother’s Day and the girls are bringing in breakfast. Unfortunately, Bingo trips over and gets upset at ‘ruining’ Mother’s Day. Chilli finds her and tells her how she deals with bad things, giving Bluey the idea to put on ‘The Show’.
Chilli and Bandit are seated as the girls prepare on the balcony. Bingo plays the part of Mum and the story starts before Chilli had kids (in the olden days) when she used to play hockey and dance all the time. However, Bluey narrates that she got lonely...
Once they ascertain that Chilli and Bandit met at a party in London, the girls set the next scene of Chilli (Bingo) having a birthday tea with the Queen.
Enter Bandit (Bluey), in an excellent impersonation of Dad, calling Chilli “boibe” and farting (much to Bingo and The Queens delight).
They fall in love and Bandit asks Chilli to marry him as they are backpacking around Italy - proclaiming his love of her ears, stinky feet and belly button. After a big wedding, Bingo and Bluey dash off stage to prepare for Act 3.
Enter a pregnant Bingo/Mum with blue balloon baby bump.
Unfortunately, the balloon pops and Bingo runs off stage upset that she’s ruined something else (Chilli and Bandit secretly hold hands - hinting that perhaps Bluey was a rainbow baby???).
Bluey sets Chattermax up to entertain the audience as she tries to console Bingo and get her back onstage. Bingo eventually pulls herself together (going through Mums checklist ) and they get ready to go on stage again - but there are no more blue balloons!
Bingo improvises and grabs Dad from the audience.... he is quickly dressed up to play the part of Baby Bluey. He acts his part by pooing in his nappy and farting on Dad-Bluey, butt-chasing him off the stage as Bingo closes ‘The Show’.
