#2.14 Piggyback

Bluey Recap: Piggyback (#2.14)

#bestbits: Bingo channeling every toddler on every walk EVER

#lifelesson: if you’re going on a bike ride with kids - be prepared to carry at least one of the bikes, and distraction is the key

The Heeler family are on holiday in Noosa (thanks @blueylocations). They set off on a boulevard walk to the river with Bluey and Bingo on their scooters. Bingo is complaining of sore legs but she becomes reinvigorated when Bluey spots an icecream shop.

Unfortunately it’s closed, making Bingo remember her earlier complaints and she ask Dad for a piggyback - he promises he’ll give her one when she REALLY can’t go any further. Just then, Bluey suggests a race and Mum gives Bingo a “turbo boost” (push off) so she has a chance of winning against Bluey. The finish line (Dad) keeps moving so they end up tying for first place.

Bingo quickly becomes tired again, but is then distracted by a trail of “itchity grubs” that Bluey has found. They watch the grubs wriggle across the path and sigh in relief when a pram safely crosses over them. Bingo starts to complain AGAIN but is this time distracted by returning the dropped pacifier to the pram, collecting pine cones for Mum, and playing sticks with Bluey.

Bingo tires again, but this time is distracted by chasing a bin chicken and hiding to jump out at Mum and Dad, a game of chariots being the starter to a race between Dad and Bluey.

It seems this time though, Bingo really has had it and ends up crawling, then laying in the ground. Mum sits with her and observes that her legs don’t get tired when she’s having fun.... cue a game of ‘Gingerbread Man’ to prove the point.

Bingo happily outruns Mum, Bluey and Dad (reprising his role as the friendly fox).

As the others arrive at the riverbank, Dad offers her a piggyback home, but she’s having too much fun and starts the gingerbread man race all over again!

Chilli takes up the piggyback offer though and jumps on Bandits back.
