#2.28 Handstand

Bluey Recap: Handstand (#2.28)

#bestbits: Bingo’s self talk and encouragement as she’s learning to do a handstand

#lifelesson: Kids birthday parties are CHAOS, and Nana always has time to watch

Bingo is in the kitchen attempting to do a handstand when a nerf toy (with perfect sound effect) comes flying in, followed by Rusty climbing through the kitchen window.

Bandit enters to cook pikelets, as more and more kids come in and out of the kitchen playing games and running around.

Bingo finally achieves a handstand as Chilli is plating up pikelets and Aunt Trixie is blowing up balloons - but no one saw it!

As the kitchen chaos continues, Bingo asks Bandit to watch her. After several failed attempts she eventually stays up, but by then Bandits attention is back on his pikelets. Bingo tries to get Bluey, her friends and Chilli to watch, but unfortunately they are all too busy as she dejectedly declares “no one wants to watch my handstand”.

Outside we see the source of all the chaos - it’s a birthday party! Nana Heeler is outside (getting in the way) and trying to offer everyone help. Unfortunately for her, no one needs her help at the moment and she’s told to relax (which Nana’s aren’t very good at). She eventually takes herself inside to see if anyone needs her help in there.

Inside, Bingo is STILL trying to find someone to watch her to a handstand (which TBH is taking a while as she has numerous false starts each time).

Finally someone sees her - Nana! As Nana takes a seat to watch Bingo perform her handstand (making them both happy!), the chaos continues around them with the kids building blocks, Stripe overheating the meat pies, and Chilli taking the infamous “Duck Cake” outside.

It’s Bingo’s birthday and everyone is ready for the cake - but Bingo and Nana are too busy with handstands!
