#lifelesson: BBQs are more often than not, NOT relaxing, and appreciate the salad!!!

Dad and Bluey are setting up their BBQs (real and make believe) with lots of kicking and cussing.
As the family BBQ begins, Bandit tells Uncle Stripe a story/joke about a farm dog (LOL) while they have a drink and cook the sausages. Meanwhile, at the kids play BBQ, Bluey is cooking pretend sausages for cousins Muffin and Socks while Bingo drags over her ‘relaxing chair’ to relax in.
Mum mentions salad, so Muffin and Socks decide they want salad too. Bandits hat (that he’s about to put on his head) becomes the salad bowl and the kids demand a green capsicum salad.
After trying all mums succulent plants (and discarding one with a bug that hits dad on the face and makes him spill his drink), Bingo adds some green capsicum to the bowl.
Bluey decides she’d like yellow capsicum so Bingo drags a chair over to reach a hanging pot of flowers - Dad again spills his drink as he goes to place it on the (moved) seat, and AGAIN as the tennis ball Bingo is using rebounds off the flower pot.
Now the kids decide they’d like red capsicum in the salad too so Bingo bats down some blossoms off the poinciana tree, this time knocking Bandits drink over with a flying seed pod.
A disheveled Bingo tries to relax in her relaxing chair again, but now the kids want salad dressing. Bingo steals Bandits new drink (he’s finally resorted to a bottle of water) and goes to make some mud. She loses control of the hose which squirts Uncle Stripe in the face (much to Bandits amusement) before she manages to turn it off and deliver a bottle of muddy-water salad dressing to the table. Mum then makes her clean up the muddy footprints on the deck.
Finally, Bingo can relax in her ‘relaxing chair’ until Dad calls that the real sausages are ready. Amongst much excitement and congratulations at the lunch table over the sausages, Bingo loses her patience and reminds everyone to appreciate the salads too!
