Bluey and Bingo are dressed up as tourists, taking pictures of Chilli’s bottom as she does yoga. As she attempts to explain to the girls that it’s rude to do that, Bandit enters but refuses to bend over as he wasn’t “born yesterday”. The girls delight in this phrase and decide to make up a new game to play….

Bandit is (re) born yesterday, entering like the messiah, and enters the world “knowing nothing”. The girls attempt to explain the concepts of “names”, being “alive” and “food” as Bandit, having just been born, states the bleeding obvious to Chilli (stools can’t talk).

Once outside, Bandit becomes scared of the ball of fire in the sky until reassured by the girls, and then unsuccessfully pushes Bingo on the swing.

They then go for a walk down the street, learning about birds, cars, rubbish and not blurting out random things to strangers at the bus stop. 

They then encounter poor Lucky’s Dad who is enjoying his steak and bacon pie. Bandit, seeing “food” and knowing how good it is, snatches the pie and digs in. Bluey and Bingo detain him, return Pat’s pie and apologise for Bandit’s behaviour. They then have to try and explain the concept of “belongings” and end up having to repeat Bandits original words - trust us as we’ve been on the planet longer than you.

They arrive at the park and encourage Bandit to just “look” at things, rather than trying to explain them. Which he does. With the wonder of someone who has stopped to appreciate the miracles of life.

Back at the Heeler house, he is released from the game by the girls who’ve had a great time. As they go to unpack the dishwasher, without being asked, Chilli looks out to see Bandit sitting meditation like in the backyard, enjoying nature.
