#3.7 Obstacle Course
Bluey Recap: Obstacle Course (#3.7)
#bestbits: Bandits misunderstood (scaredy) chicken representation
#lifelesson: sherbet is meant to be sour, and cheating doesn’t feel (or taste) good
Bandit and Bluey are playing a game of snap, which Bandit continues to win despite a hint from Chilli that maybe he’s TOO competitive. She even challenges him to Memory Snap, which he refuses to play as he loses every time.
Afterwards, the girls are outside doing an obstacle course when Bandit comes and challenges them to a race - calling them “chickens” when they say no, that it’s just for fun. At the offer of a fizzy sherbet for the winner, they are convinced and line up to race.
Bandit enthusiastically completes the course then goes inside to get his victory sherbet. The girls decide that a competition WAS fun and they want to race again and beat Dad - but reason that they’ll have to cheat to do so (much to Chilli’s chagrin).
Round 2 of the obstacle course sees Bluey take off, closely followed by Bandit who gets stuck at the chair obstacle (as Bluey cheated and lowered the bar). Bluey crosses the finish line to retrieve her sherbet prize and Bandit heads inside, congratulating her on the (cheat) “win”.
Bingo is delighted with the sherbet prize, but Bluey gets an attack of the guilts at cheating and decides she’d prefer to win fair and square.
Chilli coaches Bluey through the obstacle course, helping her get faster as Bingo times on a stop watch. Her mantra becomes “as fast as a greyhound”.
Round 3 sees Bluey apologise to Dad for cheating before taking off on her fastest lap yet. Bandit is amazed at her new skills, and is coming second until just before the finish line when he sneakily pulls her back from crossing the line first.
As he is called out for cheating (and not being able to face losing to a child), Bandit calls for a rematch. Bluey magnanimously agrees….. with a round of memory snap! #ahbiscuits
