#lifelesson: Heeler’s are stubby but tough, and robots should never replace human conversation

Bandit and the girls are taking the bins out for collection, a weekly ritual they have. He gives the bins voices to make the girls giggle, and we see that Bluey has been to karate. Neighbour Doreen is also putting her bins out and comments on how full the Heeler’s bin is. Bandit asks Bingo how kindy went and she tells him there’s a new kid at school called Banjo.

The next morning, Chilli and the girls are sitting on the front steps having breakfast and awaiting the arrival of the bin man. Bluey has her recorder to blow and scare away ‘Mr Crow’ as Chilli encourages Bingo to play with the new kid at kindy (obviously Bandit gives her a debrief of the girls chat after bin take out). As the bin man empties the bins, they call out ‘thank you’ and give him a wave. Bluey decides she’d like to be a bin lady when she grows up.

Next week - bin night. Bandit asks Bingo about kindy again and she replies it was bad as Banjo called her (and everyone else) a ‘Bobo head’.

The next morning Bluey chases Mr Crow away with her recorder again as Chilli follows up on Bingo’s kindy update. Bluey decides she’d like to be a scarecrow when she grows up. 

Over the next three weeks we see the bin night routine with Bingo’s kindy update on the mean kid Banjo, Doreen getting help from the girls with her full bin from hosting mahjong, Blueys recorder playing improving, and her career aspirations moving to astronaut.

Final week - bin night. Bluey has progressed to her yellow belt in karate and Bingo has become friends with Banjo after he got a taste of his own medicine. Bandit and Doreen question which bin night it is and Bluey has the answer from her moon observations. Doreen tells her she should be a scientist and Bluey agrees - she could make a robot to take the bins out - Bandit replies that he hopes not!
