#2.32 Postman
Bluey Recap: Postman (#2.32)
#bestbits: Bandit and Chilli’s “bin” argument
#lifelesson: a bit of squabbling is ok as we can’t all agree all the time
Bingo suggests a game of “ground is lava” and Bluey agrees, taking her plate to the kitchen first where Chilli and Bandit are having a heated discussion about the bin. Bluey asks them to stop squabbling, to which they reply that they are just talking.
Bluey the peacemaker sets up two ‘letterboxes’ and demands that Dad writes a letter to Mum. Bandit explains that even though they were squabbling, they still love each other.
Letter in hand, she scoots off on her postman bike to deliver it to Mum.
On her way though she comes across Bingo who is ready to play “ground is lava”. Bluey tells her she can’t play anymore as she’s now a postman and Bingo complains that Bluey never plays with her and a squabble begins. Remembering her earlier promise to not squabble, Bluey compromises and suggests they play BOTH games.
The girls jump over the lava and try to carry the postie bike, resulting in another squabble to which Bluey’s solution is that Bingo will just have to agree with her on everything. This works well... until it doesn’t, and another squabble erupts over who should be agreed with.
Bluey then agrees to agree with Bingo, which works for a while.... until it doesn’t again.
The sisters then decide to agree with themselves and do things their own way, which works until they both get stuck and have to work together.
The next solution is to agree with each other on everything. This works well, until ANOTHER squabble erupts. They realise that they are squabbling, apologise, and hug it out.
They’ve found Mum to finally deliver the letter, but she’s down in the garden relaxing and listening to music. Bluey and Bingo work (and squabble) together to make a paper aeroplane and fly the love letter down to her, eliciting a smile from Mum as she reads “I love you. Dad”
