#2.43 Bad Mood
Bluey Recap: Bad Mood (#2.43)
#bestbits: Bingo’s giggles
#lifelesson: you can always get out of a bad mood, and kids are NOT their behaviours
Bingo runs giggling to hide behind a couch and eat a biscuit she’s stolen... unfortunately for her Mum is cleaning the window outside and catches her! Mum tells Bingo that she’s being a bit cheeky and Bingo takes offence, running off to sulk in the bedroom and declaring that nothing will cheer her up... until she sees the “bad mood” Viking helmet under her bed.
Bandit dons the Viking hat and foot marches Bingo to become the “bad mood”. Together they knock over Blueys block tower, kick teddy off the balcony, and upturn Mums washing basket. Mum asks Bingo what’s gotten into her and Bingo claims that she can’t help it - she’s being controlled by her “bad mood” (Bandit). Mum tells Bluey they’ll have to find a way to get Bingo out of her “bad mood!”
Bluey finds Bingo (and “bad mood” Dad) watching cricket on TV before heading to the fridge to get some “treat only” chocolate. Bingo claims that it’s not her, it’s her “bad mood”.
Bluey attempts to calm Bingo’s bad mood by setting up the relaxing chair, doing some deep breathing and drawing some lovely pictures, but the “bad mood” ruins it all. Finally Bluey tries playing Bingo’s favourite dance song so loudly that “bad mood” Bandit has to cover his ears, allowing Bingo to escape. The girls run to hide, but then Bingo stops and returns to her “bad mood”.
After realising that Bingo might be ‘stuck’ in her mood, Bluey and Mum come up with a plan to break it.
Bluey lures the “bad mood” outside, making the “bad mood” chase after her then collapse from exhaustion.
Bluey pulls Bingo free from the “bad mood” and deposits her with Mum, who is acting as the “good mood”. Together they foot walk around the yard, hugging everything and giggling, before Bingo exclaims that she should hug her “bad mood”.
