The Heeler’s are all lying in bed playing a word guessing game when Bingo proclaims that she needs the toilet - Bandit jumps up and beats her there.
Bluey wants to play ‘3 in the bed’ while Dad is in the “dunny”. This starts a conversation by Chilli about how she’d prefer the girls to say toilet instead of dunny. It’s not a rude word but the Queen wouldn’t say it (which convinces Bingo). Bluey argues that Chloe gets to say it but Mum states that THEIR family doesn’t say it (despite Bandit returning and saying the “dunny” is free).
Bluey asks if she can say ‘duneep’ and Mum agrees, but warns no one will understand if she uses made up words - cue Bandit having a conversation with Bluey in gobble-de-gook.
Chilli then tells Bluey that anyone who uses the word “dunny” will get squish-squashed, which Bandit demonstrates by rolling on top of Bluey. Chilli proclaims that she will never say the word “dunny”, and says the girls can have chocolate if she EVER does, so it becomes a challenge.
They try a game of ‘pass it on’ with a message containing “dunny” which Chilli deliberately misinterprets. Bluey blurts out the word “dunny” causing another ‘squish squash’ from Bandit, before Chilli tells them she just wants their family to use nice words so others think they are a NICE family, to which everyone finally acquiesces.
They then play a game of ‘4 in the bed’, with Mum rolling off first, followed by Bluey. Bandit refuses his turn as Bluey starts another in depth conversation with Mum using toddler logic about the word dunny, wondering if because their family doesn’t say it, and Chloe’s family does, does that make their family better than Chloe’s family?
Exasperated and admitting defeat, Chilli tells them they CAN say dunny (just not in front of the Queen) to which everyone cheers and chants “DUNNY!”
